Terms of Service

Last updated June 12, 2026

These terms govern your access to and use of PsychPocket. By using the service, you agree to them.

1. Acceptance of these terms

By creating an account or using PsychPocket (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to accept these terms on its behalf. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. What PsychPocket is — and is not

PsychPocket is a software platform that provides AI-assisted conversational support and gives licensed therapists tools to review and oversee those conversations. It is intended to complement, not replace, professional clinical care.

The Service does not provide medical or mental-health diagnosis or treatment, and AI responses are not a substitute for the judgment of a qualified professional.

3. Not for emergencies

PsychPocket is not an emergency service. If you are experiencing a crisis, having thoughts of harming yourself or others, or facing a medical emergency, call 911 (or your local emergency number) or contact the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline by calling or texting 988 in the United States.

4. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. Authentication is handled through supported identity providers; you agree to keep those credentials secure.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these terms;
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its data;
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service;
  • Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or organization.

6. Therapist oversight

Where you are connected with a therapist through the Service, that therapist may review your conversations to provide care, in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Administrative staff can manage accounts but are restricted from viewing conversation content under our minimum-necessary access controls.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, and content (excluding your conversation content), is owned by PsychPocket and protected by intellectual-property laws. You retain rights to the content you submit, and grant us the limited rights necessary to operate and improve the Service.

8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, PsychPocket will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
